Do you struggle with trying to figure out what is healthy and what’s not?

There’s a LOT of information out there and a lot of different things that will work, things for different goals, and a lot of people thinking their way is the ONLY way!


The truth is complicated.  Nutrition and fitness are sciences and just like any other science it’s constant evolving and people are constantly trying to find hacks and short cuts.  So the short answer here is to not be married to one single way of thinking.


Lots of things can work you just have to determine what works for YOU!  If you can’t live without pasta, keto’s probably not for you.  If you’re really into having some steak a meatless diet isn’t going to be your thing.  If you’re an athlete and performance is your goal you need a different strategy than someone who wants to fit into their wedding dress in 6 weeks.  A runner will absolutely need more carbohydrates and less protein than a weightlifter.  Your goals and your preferences are what matters when selecting something that is sustainable!  Have a friend who is constantly gaining and losing that 20lbs but keeps hopping on the keto bandwagon because “it’s the only thing that works” or the friend who is always on Whole 30 because they are “sensitive to carbs?”  There’s a reason for that!  When you “cheat,” because if your diet excludes the one thing you can’t live without YOU WILL CHEAT, you will likely eat far more than normal and WILL feel bloated, sluggish and pumped full of 5-10lbs of water weight.
