Get Fit & Stay Fit with These Five Strategies

Getting started (working out, eating healthier, etc) and staying consistent can be tough! Preparing your environment and getting ready for the day can literally make or break even the most well intended plan.

Here are five tips to get you started on the right foot.

1. Pick out a cute workout outfit. Lay it out on your dresser or wherever you’ll get up and start struggling with the idea of going back to bed 🤔

2. Put your kicks by the door. Running shoes, trainers, converse? Put them by the door so you’re not wasting time getting frustrated trying to figure out where they went.

3. Keep your gym bag in the car! Going to the gym after work? After you drop the kiddos off at summer camp or school? There’s nothing worse than getting across town and realize you left your bag at home. Toss that sucker in the back of the car and you know you’re always one stop from staying consistent. Also make sure you have an extra set of headphones in there for emergencies. #iykyk always prepare for dead AirPods or realizing you left them by the bed.

4. Prep your meals, water and shakes! You don’t have to get super crazy here. Need a shake for the gym? Make it the night before then give it a good shake before you chug it. Need to eat after your workout but you know you’ll be short on time? Prep a meal and stick it in the fridge or grab a couple healthy protein bars to shove in your gym bag (because food emergencies are real folks!). Oh and don’t forget your water. Fill it up the night before and stick it next to your sneakers.

5. Have your workout plan ready to go! There’s nothing worse (except being hungry) than wasting 15 minutes trying to figure out what you’re doing. Have a plan ready the night before so you know where to start and have a plan of action in case someone is on the squat rack you need when you get there.

Print this out and stick it to your fridge!
